About Me

My name is Ron Boyett.  I am a 1984 graduate of White Oak High School (13 yr Roughneck), a 1988 graduate of Stephen F Austin State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree, and an employee at White Oak ISD since the fall of 1988.  From 1988-2016, I taught (17 yrs math, 11 yrs US History) and coached (1992-2016 as head boys basketball) in the high school.  The past 8 years have taught PE and coached 7th grade boys athletics for 7 years at White Oak Middle School.  This will be my 2nd year to lead the Education and Training program at the high school and I no longer coach.

My wife, Desiree Hutchins-Boyett, is head of the WOHS Science department and teaches Anatomy, Physics, and Robotics.  We have been married since 2006.  My daughter, Haley, is a 2021 graduate from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and also holds a masters degree in nursing education.  She currently works in home health.  She is married to Connor Flanagan who is an assistant baseball coach at Grayson County Community College.
